Newfront vs Risklytics

Compare program management and contract-review support with frontier-tech placement as a hardware company adds vendors and overseas operations.

Introduction

A hardware company with suppliers, customer contracts and overseas activity may need more than a successful first placement. Newfront markets insurance program management, contract tools and international services; Risklytics concentrates its public pitch on preparing and placing frontier-tech risks. Compare the work required after policies are bought as carefully as the initial market submission. 8 27 35

Key Differences Between Newfront and Risklytics

Contract and Vendor Work Can Change the Engagement

Newfront describes tools for extracting contract insurance requirements, comparing them with policies and tracking vendor certificates. Its Partner Management inclusion statement applies to client service agreements, not free brokerage overall. Risklytics' documented automation prepares the buyer's own application. These functions address different administrative burdens: ask whether the engagement covers incoming vendor evidence, outgoing customer requirements, or only placing your insurance. Neither tool description establishes that every gap will be detected. 32 33 31 35

WTW Ownership Does Not Mean Every System Is Already Unified

WTW completed its Newfront acquisition in January 2026. Newfront's subsequent privacy notice describes integration as ongoing, so a buyer should confirm the current contracting entity, team and systems rather than assuming a finished migration. Risklytics identifies its producer in current terms, but does not publish an equivalent enterprise program-management scope. The relevant comparison is the proposed account team and deliverables, not the size implied by a parent name. 2 4 3 37

Geography and Loss Advocacy Need Specific Commitments

Newfront describes local international placement through a broker network and pre-loss reporting protocols with claims advocacy. Its public pages do not establish every country's product access. Risklytics' reviewed materials leave detailed claims assistance and California placement unresolved. For a multinational deployment plan, request a location-by-location allocation of broker, insurer and incident duties; neither catalogue is a worldwide coverage commitment. 27 34 36 37

What to Confirm in Quotes

  • Define which contracts, vendors and subsidiaries are included in the service agreement and who reviews exceptions flagged by tools. 31 32 38
  • Identify local policies and responsible producers for each country and California operation, including any gaps between local and group cover. 27 36
  • Price claims advocacy and program administration explicitly. Newfront's benefits compensation terms should not be assumed to govern business-insurance work. 8 26 39

Service Comparison

Newfront vs Risklytics Insurance: documented services and availability

CriteriaNewfrontRisklytics
Business role

WTW announced that it completed its acquisition of Newfront on January 27, 2026. Newfront’s Business Insurance team joined WTW’s Risk & Broking segment, while Total Rewards joined Health, Wealth & Career. 2

Newfront’s current terms use the name Newfront Insurance Services. An older official disclosure identifies ABD Insurance and Financial Services, Inc. as the agency behind the Newfront brand following its 2022 merger. The current site calls Newfront Insurance Services a trade name; confirm the full contracting producer name on your engagement agreement. 3,1,5

Newfront’s brokerage team analyzes risks and negotiates insurance placement. Its claims service acts as a liaison with the carrier. The broker’s advice and advocacy do not make Newfront the insurer responsible for the policy. 8,12,34,3

Risklytics describes itself as a commercial insurance brokerage. Its current legal disclosures identify Risklytics, Inc., doing business as Risklytics Insurance Services, as the producer arranging coverage rather than the insurer. 36,37

Servicing and renewals

Newfront says Navigator brings together policy documents, certificates, claims information, payment tools, and communication with the service team. Its Executive Risk page describes renewal submissions pre-filled with historical data and document sharing with access controls. 30,11

A policy or coverage change requested through Navigator remains preliminary until the applicable carrier approves it and provides written confirmation. A submitted request is not evidence that the new coverage is in force. 3

Newfront says its Partner Management tool is included in client service agreements at no additional cost. It tracks vendor certificates, expiration dates, compliance issues, and follow-up activity inside Navigator. This is a statement about that tool, not a promise of free brokerage services. 31

Newfront’s Contract Review tool extracts insurance requirements, compares them with current policies, provides source citations, and notifies the Newfront team. Its Coverage Gap Analysis tool supports the team’s policy reviews. These are company-described functions; the reviewed materials do not independently establish accuracy or prove that all gaps will be detected. 32,33

Newfront’s March 2026 privacy notice describes integration with WTW as ongoing and anticipates substantial integration by year-end, subject to legal and contractual limits. That is a stated plan, not confirmation that systems, data practices, or service agreements have already been unified. 4

Risklytics says a broker remains on the account after placement and certificates can be issued against the binder. Its terms describe portal access to submissions, returned options and coverage records. The reviewed FAQ and contact page do not specify a renewal remarketing commitment or certificate turnaround guarantee. 40,37,41

Risklytics provides a contact form and email support, advertising an email response within a day. That is its stated response target, not a measured service result or emergency claims commitment. 41

Claims assistance

Newfront describes helping establish reporting protocols before a loss, reviewing how a policy may respond, and acting as the buyer’s liaison with the carrier. Its advocates address coverage-reservation and denial letters, counsel selection, vendor rates, reimbursement, and allocation disputes. This documents claims assistance, not a promise that a claim will be paid. 34

A dedicated claims-reporting procedure or detailed broker claims-assistance commitment was not found in the reviewed terms, FAQ and contact page. The terms distinguish Risklytics from independent carriers and wholesalers and disclaim control over their claim handling. Ask for the policy’s reporting contact and the broker’s role after a loss. 37,40,41

Availability

Newfront advertises U.S. and international brokerage services, but the reviewed pages do not provide a product-by-state eligibility schedule. Its global service page describes working through the Worldwide Broker Network and arranging local coverage. Confirm the country, local broker, insurer, and product for each location. 1,27

Newfront’s footer displays license number 0H55918. Its linked license list required Google sign-in, and California’s public lookup did not return a usable record during this research. Current producer-license status was therefore not independently verified here; licensing alone would not establish availability of a particular policy. 1,7,6

Risklytics publishes agency NPN 22311838 and Massachusetts resident license 3004393145. Its state table, dated September 10, 2026, also lists Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas and Washington. These are company-reported identifiers, not independently verified licenses or product eligibility. 36

California is absent from the reviewed agency-license table. A California-authorized producer and product route remain unconfirmed in the reviewed disclosures; this does not establish that Risklytics cannot arrange California coverage. Confirm the responsible producer, authority and insurer for your operation before relying on a quote. 36,37,45
