Resilience vs
Vouch
Compare Resilience’s specialist cyber terms with Vouch’s carrier-selection and contract-review services without conflating Vouch and Corix.
Introduction
A finance lead comparing a Resilience proposal with a conversation about Vouch should identify whether the second option is an insurance policy or brokerage advice. Resilience markets cyber and technology E&O; Vouch arranges coverage across carriers and reviews contract requirements. Those functions may complement each other, but the shared evidence does not establish that Vouch can place Resilience for this account. 3 4 18 29

Key Differences Between Resilience and Vouch
Vouch’s Brokerage Is Distinct from Corix
Vouch’s current disclosure identifies Vouch Specialty Insurance Services, LLC as the entity that brokers insurance. Vouch Group, Inc. is the group name used in that disclosure. The brokerage arranges policies with insurers; the insurer named on each policy takes on the covered risk. 12,18
Corix identifies Corix Insurance Services, LLC as the former Vouch Insurance Services, LLC. That is a different entity from Vouch Specialty Insurance Services, LLC, the broker named on Vouch’s current site. 22,12,13
Hiscox's annual report records its Corix acquisition. That should not be used to describe Hiscox as the parent of the current Vouch Specialty brokerage. Ask Vouch which carrier and program it is proposing before comparing the offer with Resilience's Homeland alternatives. Older Vouch-branded underwriting material is not evidence of terms on every current brokerage placement. 21 12 2
Compare Selected Modules with the Customer Contract
If the actual Vouch proposal uses Corix, its public cyber/E&O application identifies selectable modules and warns about defense costs reducing the liability limit unless endorsed otherwise. That application is not a complete policy. If another insurer is proposed, use that insurer's documents instead. Resilience's product descriptions likewise require actual forms to resolve professional activities, defense costs and customer indemnities. 25 18 4
Vouch's contract-review service and Resilience's security-investment service create different deliverables. The first can organize insurance requirements; the second addresses technical priorities in financial terms. Ask who will translate each finding into a coverage change or an engineering task, rather than counting both as the same kind of risk review. 29 8
Advocacy and Response Should Have Named Owners
Vouch advertises claims advocacy for clients and coordination across carriers. Resilience describes an in-house claims team and specialist response panel. Before purchasing, establish who gives formal notice, who approves vendors and who advocates if coverage is disputed. Neither description establishes the insurer's decision on an actual loss. 33 34 6
What to Confirm in Quotes
Obtain a carrier-specific Vouch proposal, not just a brokerage presentation, and compare it with the Resilience form and California placement details. Ask whether the technology revenue appetite fits, how defense costs affect limits and which contract requirements remain unmet. Keep any Corix-specific findings attached only to a Corix quote. 18 25 4 2
Service Comparison
Resilience vs Vouch: documented services and availability
| Criteria | Resilience | Vouch |
|---|---|---|
| Business role | Resilience combines cyber insurance and technology errors and omissions insurance with cybersecurity risk-management services. 1,3,4 Resilience identifies Ocrea Risk Services, LLC, doing business as Resilience Cyber Insurance Solutions, as its US insurance distributor and lists NPN 19169260. This company disclosure is not independent verification of a California license. 2 | Vouch’s current disclosure identifies Vouch Specialty Insurance Services, LLC as the entity that brokers insurance. Vouch Group, Inc. is the group name used in that disclosure. The brokerage arranges policies with insurers; the insurer named on each policy takes on the covered risk. 12,18 Corix identifies Corix Insurance Services, LLC as the former Vouch Insurance Services, LLC. That is a different entity from Vouch Specialty Insurance Services, LLC, the broker named on Vouch’s current site. 22,12,13 Hiscox announced an agreement in August 2025 to acquire Corix Insurance Services, LLC and Vouch Insurance Company, while Vouch would remain an independent broker with a multi-year Hiscox distribution agreement. Hiscox’s 2025 annual report records the Corix acquisition closing on August 11, 2025. 20,21 Corix’s January 2025 legal disclosure still describes it as part of Vouch, even though the same page now displays Hiscox branding. Hiscox’s later annual report records the acquisition. The older ownership paragraph should not be used to describe the current Vouch brokerage. 23,21 |
| Access to insurers | Resilience’s US disclosure names Homeland Insurance Company of New York or Homeland Insurance Company of Delaware as underwriting insurers. It does not specify which would issue a particular California quote. 2 | Corix’s disclosures name State National Insurance Company, Inc. for its admitted offerings and United Specialty Insurance Company for certain surplus-lines offerings. These are Corix program disclosures; they do not identify the insurer on every policy placed by Vouch. 23 Corix’s public management liability application names United Specialty Insurance Company. It offers directors and officers, employment practices and fiduciary liability selections, with a warning about claims-made liability and defense costs reducing the limit unless endorsed otherwise. 37 |
| Application process | Resilience presents insurance to brokers through a dedicated broker page and offers a public contact route for product inquiries. The reviewed pages do not document an end-to-end self-service purchase or a guaranteed quote or binding time. 5,7 | Vouch’s public application starts with your legal business name, website, business address and location type, followed by your role and contact details. There is a separate sign-in path for an existing application or policy. 16 Vouch says its platform presents carrier options together, with differences in coverage, exclusions, endorsements and pricing explained by advisors. The reviewed pages do not promise a fixed number of quotes or a search of every insurer. 18 Vouch says many technology companies can arrange coverage within days, with smaller programs sometimes completed in minutes. Those are company timing claims. Its buying guide says coverage requires binding confirmation and the effective date, with underwriting and payment conditions satisfied. 17,19 |
| Servicing and renewals | Resilience markets Edge for prioritizing security spending by estimated financial impact, and Arc for viewing cyber risk across multiple entities. These are risk-management services, not additional insurance coverage lines. 8,9 Resilience states that buying insurance is not tied to buying security services. Confirm which services are included in the proposed package and which require a separate agreement. 2 The current broker and product pages reviewed do not specify renewal documentation, a renewal price commitment or a standard servicing turnaround. 5,3,4 | Vouch offers a complimentary coverage review that it describes as identifying gaps and comparing a program with industry peers. It also offers reviews of insurance requirements in leases, customer agreements and funding arrangements. 28,29 Vouch says customers can request certificates of insurance through their account and include a third party in the request. A certificate summarizes insurance; the policy and any required endorsements determine that third party’s actual coverage. 30,31 Vouch says it coordinates documentation, communication and renewal cycles across carriers. Its renewal guide asks buyers to prepare updated financials, claims history and business changes, starting 30–60 days before renewal. That is preparation guidance, not a guaranteed service timetable or automatic renewal commitment. 18,32 |
| Claims assistance | Resilience describes a 24/7 in-house claims team, a dedicated claims manager through settlement, and outside specialists in privacy law, forensics, recovery and crisis communications. These are company-reported service arrangements, not independently measured claims quality. 6 | Vouch advertises claims advocacy at no cost to its clients, with a dedicated advocate and help communicating with insurers. It describes assisting with reporting, documentation and follow-up. The issuing insurer decides coverage and pays covered claims. 33,34 Vouch’s help center links to a claim request form asking about the incident, its location, estimated loss and supporting documents. Your policy’s notice instructions remain important: confirm the correct recipient, deadline and any separate cyber incident-response contact. 35,36,34 |
