Role: Broker. Scope: Harper Global Enterprises Inc. d/b/a Harper Global Insurance Agency, the licensed producer of record, assessed for US commercial insurance placement and servicing activity. Producer authority is independently verified in Georgia, the firm's resident state, only; the published California licence and every other jurisdiction remain company-reported. Harper Group Corp., the name Harper's privacy policy uses for itself, holds no evidenced insurance authority anywhere and is outside the assessed entity scope, with its relationship to the licensee recorded as an open disclosure item. No carrier, market or programme behind a Harper placement is assessed, because none is evidenced.
Legal Identity
Two corporate names appear in Harper's own disclosures. The privacy policy opens 'Harper Group Corp. is an AI-native commercial insurance brokerage', while the site footer, the privacy-policy footer and the February 2026 funding announcement all name Harper Global Enterprises Inc. doing business as Harper Global Insurance Agency. Which of them holds the authority being assessed is settled by the regulator: the Georgia record for licence 237101, the number Harper itself publishes, is held by HARPER GLOBAL ENTERPRISES INC. under National Producer Number 21740058, with property, casualty and life lines active. A Georgia name search at the licensee's own Alpharetta address returns that one licensee and no alias row, and a search for HARPER GROUP at the San Francisco address in the privacy policy returns no record at all. Nothing anywhere shows Harper Group Corp. holding a licence, an NPN or an appointment.[1][2][4][6]
How the two names relate is a different question, and it cannot be answered from primary sources. Harper never states it: nothing in the privacy policy connects the names through an affiliate, subsidiary, parent or dba relationship, and the company publishes no terms of service. No securities filing exists, because EDGAR holds no registrant or filing under either name. The three state corporate registries that might hold the companies were not available. That last point changes nothing on its own, because US corporate registries record each entity's own name, status and agent and do not publish parent, subsidiary or affiliate links between two separately registered corporations. The Georgia record retrieved on 22 September 2026 shows Harper Global Enterprises Inc. holding Principal Agency - Resident licence 237101, Status Active, issued 4 September 2024 and running to 30 September 2028, with Principal Agency Property, Casualty and Life lines each active. Georgia is the firm's resident licensing state, so this is the licence its other authority is built on rather than a single out-of-state registration. California licence 6017784 remains company-published: the state's lookup was not available on the same day for the licence number and for the business name. Financial Strength
Harper's current funding announcement describes $47 million in funding dated February 26, 2026; funding and access to underwriters do not establish Harper's own balance sheet or the financial strength of an insurer on a buyer's quote. No current carrier-specific AM Best action or statutory statement is available.[3][1]
Risk Bearing
Harper presents itself as arranging coverage from other companies and marketing wholesale access. The reviewed materials do not identify delegating insurers, product and state limits or a policy issuer for a particular risk; Harper is treated as intermediary unless the quote states otherwise.[1][3]
Harper's home page carries a 'Partners you can count on' section that presents insurer names as a logo strip. A logo is not evidence of an appointment, a binding authority or a placement relationship, and the Georgia licensing record lists no carrier appointments for Harper Global Enterprises Inc. at all. No carrier or market relationship is therefore evidenced for any Harper placement.[1][4]
