Does professional E&O cover an injury caused by a product?

Do not assume. Compare the proposed E&O definition of your design services with the CGL/products terms for injury or property damage caused by your product. Check each form’s exclusions and covered activities.[3][1]

Describe the product, installation, software/hardware mix, and sales territory. The line label does not settle which form responds.[2]

Ask separately how the proposed forms treat bodily injury, rework, product repair, and recall costs.[1][2]
