When should I update the information I gave for a quote?

Update it before a material operating change and tell your broker when the change happens during the policy period.[4]

Examples include adding a product line, changing manufacturing or fulfillment locations, opening a customer-facing site, moving inventory into transit, adding employees in a new state, or beginning a new delivery service.[4][3]

Ask how the policy requires changes to be reported and whether an endorsement, revised schedule, or new quote is needed. Keep the request and the insurer’s response with your policy records.[4]
