How it works

Describe how deliveries happen

Common questions

Is last-mile delivery one standard policy?

No. Vehicle liability, vehicle damage and cargo can be separate parts of a quote, so we compare them one at a time.

What if drivers use their own cars?

The program must address delivery use of non-owned vehicles and say whose liability is insured. Cover for company-owned vehicles doesn’t settle either.

Does it cover a package damaged at the door?

Only if cargo coverage extends through unloading and handoff. Auto liability alone doesn’t provide it.

Can my delivery program stay with my broker?

Yes. Spot works alongside brokers and takes no commissions on premiums. Move to a different broker only if you want to.
