# Spot broker partner reference

Spot works alongside brokers to coordinate selected commercial-insurance submissions. Broker appetite determines which opportunities the team shares; applying does not establish a partnership, submission volume, or exclusivity.

## Prepare an application

Use the [partner application](https://spot.insure/partners/brokers#apply). No account is required. Prepare firm and primary contact information, licenses and credentials, products, territories, industries, company sizes served, service model, referral workflow, preferred commercial model, and response-time commitment.

Commercial terms are reviewed directly with Spot and confirmed in a written partner agreement. Do not infer partner compensation from the customer service pricing table.

## Submission workflow

1. **Apply.** Describe your licenses, products, appetite, and service model.
2. **Spot reviews and follows up.** Our team reviews your firm, credentials, appetite, and workflow, then follows up about fit and commercial terms.
3. **Receive selected submissions.** When our team identifies a fit, Spot shares the available company information, requested coverage, documents, and open questions.
4. **Return questions and a proposal.** Tell us what else you need and share your proposal, including terms, conditions, required documents, and next steps, through our agreed channel.
5. **Spot coordinates the customer’s next step.** We help the company review its options and coordinate follow-up with you. The customer decides how to proceed.

## Proposal handoff

For a selected opportunity, distinguish available company information and documents from outstanding questions. Return the proposal's terms, conditions, required documents, and next steps through the channel agreed with Spot. The customer decides how to proceed.
