Commercial crime or fidelity coverage may pay a business’s direct loss from employee theft, including some embezzlement, if the policy includes that grant.

Confirm the definition of employee, whether leased or temporary workers qualify, and whether the limit applies per loss. If the employee stole a customer’s property rather than the company’s, ask about a separate customer-property extension.
