# What Insurance Covers Damage To Customer Property?

CGL may cover accidental damage to customer property, but property in your care, custody, or control may be excluded.

CGL generally addresses third-party property-damage liability, but that exclusion can remove property you control from coverage.

Tell the broker what customer property you handle and where it is located. Ask for the policy wording on property being repaired, stored, or transported, and confirm any separate limit or endorsement.
