Ecommerce companies can seek cover for brand, content, product, and licensing disputes; online activity alone does not guarantee it.

Ecommerce businesses can ask about IP coverage for disputes involving brands, product images, listings, designs, and licensed goods. Marketplace sales and online publishing do not automatically qualify under a policy.

Tell the insurer where you sell, whether products are private label, who creates listings, and what suppliers warrant. Check covered websites, marks, goods, defense terms, and exclusions for contracts or intentional conduct.
