# Does General Liability Cover Harassment?

CGL generally excludes workplace harassment claims; EPLI may cover specified claims by workers or applicants.

EPLI is the separate coverage to check, but its definition of covered harassment and eligible claimants controls.

Check who can bring a claim, defense costs, exclusions, limits, and reporting deadlines. Tell the broker where your workforce is located and whether you need protection for claims by applicants, former employees, or third parties.
