That category can matter to repair shops, processors, or businesses storing customer goods. It does not mean every customer loss or contractual liability is paid, and property at another location may fall outside the insured premises.

Check the property-of-others provision, its limit, valuation, covered locations, and causes of loss. Compare those terms with service contracts and customer agreements, and ask whether customers’ goods in transit or temporarily stored elsewhere need an inland-marine form. General liability addresses liability claims, not a substitute for first-party property coverage on the goods themselves.
