US Assure’s remodeling tips, for its program, ask applicants to choose a six-, nine-, or twelve-month term. These are scoped examples, not a rule for every insurer or state.

Build time can change because of permitting, weather, inspections, or labor availability. The specimen ISO form lists policy expiration among the events that can end coverage, and US Assure says renewal is not automatic for its program.

Ask for the shortest available period and written extension procedure. Check whether premium is fully earned, how cancellation is calculated, whether a minimum premium applies, and what occurs if completion or occupancy happens before the scheduled expiration.
