# How should a prime and subcontractor prepare a quote for prototype delivery followed by site integration?

Show the delivery and integration stages separately. Identify each contract party, clause or flow-down, property owner, requested limit, and continuing duty so the broker can compare the actual work with proposed terms. [28.307-2 Liability](https://www.acquisition.gov/far/28.307-2), [Commercial Insurance Guide](https://www.insurance.ca.gov/01-consumers/105-type/95-guides/09-comm/commercialguide.cfm)

For example, a subcontractor may build and deliver a test unit while the prime leads later site integration. Note who owns the unit at each point, which entity performs each task, and whether either team returns after acceptance. Ask the contracting officer which contract provisions apply, then ask the broker to match each stage to the clause and proposed wording. This is a quote cross-check, not a conclusion that a particular form satisfies the contract.
